While petroleum jelly or petrolatum is a byproduct of the oil refining process and comes from oil rigs, somewhat supporting oil drilling through it's use, this sustainable alternative is handmade and hand-poured with only natural ingredients that are known to moisturize the skin and protect it from chapping and other irritations. It has a myriad of uses, including as a lotion, makeup remover, lip balm or rash soother, or even just to tame flyaway hairs. The consistency is somewhat similar to a lotion, but will not absorb as quickly. Please take care while opening and keep the tins level as the product is liquid enough to spill out.
