Directions

  • Prepare Your Hair: Brush your hair thoroughly to remove tangles. Section hair starting from the ear line and clip the top portion up for easy access.
  • Wear the Thermal Glove: Put on the included thermal glove on the hand you will use to hold the hair, ensuring your fingers are protected.
  • Wrap the Hair: Take a 2-inch (5 cm) section of hair, hold it with your fingers, and wrap it around the barrel. Hold the hair in place for 5-10 seconds, then release.
  • Release the Curl: Gently unwind the hair from the barrel. For tighter curls, hold for longer; for looser waves, let go sooner.
  • Style: Once all your curls are done, gently comb through with a wide-tooth comb to add volume and texture if desired. Finish with your favorite hairspray for extra hold.

    • ISO Tips:

    • Avoid Repeated Sections: If your first curl doesn't turn out perfectly, move on to another section, then return to the missed strand later.
    • For Spiral Curls: Twist the hair at the root a few times before wrapping it around the barrel for defined, spiral curls.
    • For Root Curls: After wrapping the hair, roll the handle upwards to get curls starting closer to the root.
    • Fix Fishtail Curls: If you get a fishtail effect, it may be because you're not holding the tip of your hair against the barrel. Adjust the section and hold the tip tightly next time.
    • For Volume: After styling, use a wide-tooth comb to gently comb through curls for added fullness and texture.
